The programme titled \u2018Let\u2019s excavate! \u2013 experiential learning of the archaeological excavation\u2019, is included in the permanent educational actions of the park (registrations required). It was inaugurated on 21\/10\/15 and 26\/10\/15, in the framework of the educational actions to highlight the work carried out by the Archaeological Service.<\/p>\n

The opening programme (21\/10\/15 & 26\/10\/15) took place with the contribution of the East Olympus Environmental Education Centre (KPE). Participating pupils were informed by archaeologists, designers and conservators about the object of their work and they afterwards participated in a simulation of the excavation process. The programme was completed by artistic \u2013 painting actions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
